Volgren Queensland has completed and delivered its 2,000th locally built bus at the Eagle Farm facility in Brisbane — a historic achievement for the site and its people.
Eagle Farm has grown into one of Australia’s most capable bus manufacturing operations, building diesel, hybrid, battery-electric and hydrogen-fuelled vehicles for Translink, Brisbane City Council and operators across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
The 2,000th bus milestone underlines Volgren’s commitment to Queensland manufacturing jobs and to supporting the state’s transition to a zero-emission public transport network.
