1. Who we are
Volgren Pty Ltd (ABN pending insertion) (“Volgren”, “we”, “us”) is Australia’s largest bus body manufacturer and a Marcopolo Group company, with its head office at 221–243 Hammond Road, Dandenong VIC 3175. We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. What we collect
We may collect: contact details you provide through enquiry or brochure-download forms (name, email address, company, phone); correspondence you send us; recruitment information you submit when applying for roles; and limited technical information generated by your visit (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Why we collect it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide requested materials such as product brochures, manage commercial and aftersales relationships, assess employment applications, meet legal and contractual obligations, and improve our website and services. We do not sell personal information.
4. Disclosure
We may share information with related Marcopolo Group entities, and with service providers who support our operations (for example IT, hosting and recruitment providers) under appropriate confidentiality obligations. Some group entities and providers may be located overseas, including Brazil; where information is disclosed overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.
5. Security & retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law.
